A credit reporting agency you can actually buy from.
CRS provides consumer and business credit data to companies that lend, screen tenants, and extend terms. One account covers all three bureaus.
CRS sells to businesses, not to individuals. If you are checking your own credit, there is a faster and free option at the bottom of this page.
HONEST QUALIFICATION
Who CRS is built for, and who it is not.
We would rather tell you now than after a sales call.
A good fit
- 01You check credit on other people or businesses as part of how you operate
- 02You have a permissible purpose, such as lending, tenant screening, or account review
- 03You pull credit consistently rather than once or twice a year
- 04You operate in the United States
- 05You want more than one bureau, or more than credit data alone
- 06You want a portal today and an API later, or the other way around
Not a fit
- 01You want to check your own credit or a family member’s
- 02You are curious about someone and have no business reason to look
- 03You need a handful of reports a year
- 04You are outside the United States
- 05You want a consumer credit monitoring subscription for yourself
- 06You want a portal today and an API later, or the other way around
Regulated data takes a process. We run it for you.
Credit data is not something you sign up for with a credit card. Here is what actually happens.
You do not need to become a credit reporting agency yourself. CRS holds that role and credentials you as an end user underneath it.
WHY CRS
One provider instead of a stack of them.
You can contract each bureau directly, or use a provider built around one narrow use case. Here is how those compare.

FAQ
What is a credit reporting agency?
An organization that collects credit information and provides it to businesses with a permissible purpose. [More on what a CRA is](https://crscreditapi.com/what-is-a-cra/).
Do we need to be a credit reporting agency ourselves?
No. CRS holds that role. You are credentialed as an end user, and our compliance team runs that process for you.
Can we pull credit on anyone we want?
No. Every pull requires a permissible purpose under federal law. We confirm yours before enabling any product.
Do we need developers?
No. Start in the web portal and pull reports one at a time. Add the API whenever you are ready to automate.
How long before we can pull our first report?
Most customers go live in roughly two weeks. Bureau vetting is usually the longest step, and we manage it.
What does vetting require?
Requirements vary by product and use case. Our [vetting documents page](https://crscreditapi.com/vetting-documents/) lists what to prepare.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the products you need and your expected volume. Tell us both and we will give you real numbers.
Is there a minimum volume?
CRS is built for businesses pulling credit consistently. If your volume is very low, we will tell you honestly.
Looking for your own credit report?
CRS provides credit data to businesses only. We do not sell credit reports to individuals.
