Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)

The U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Sanctions List Service is the primary, authoritative data feed of Specially Designated Nationals (SDNs) and other blocked or sanctioned parties. Updated as often as multiple times per day, SLS lets compliance teams download the SDN and Consolidated Non-SDN lists in XML, CSV, fixed-width, or pipe-delimited formats or pull them via a lightweight REST/FTP endpoint. Each record carries unique IDs, program tags, known aliases and birth/incorporation data, giving screening engines the raw material they need to flag prohibited counterparties at account opening, in payments flows, or during trade compliance checks.
