Trended Data
Trended credit data is an enhancement to traditional credit reports that shows how a consumer's credit behavior has changed over time, not just where it stands today. Unlike standard credit files—which offer a snapshot of current balances, credit limits, and payment status—trended data includes up to 24–30 months of monthly activity for each tradeline. This includes historical data on: Balances, Credit limits, Minimum vs. actual payments, Utilization trends, Payment amounts and timing and Delinquency patterns. By analyzing these time-series data points, lenders and decision-makers gain deeper insight into consumer intent and behavior, such as whether someone consistently pays down balances or revolves credit.
